Drive For Your School Fundraiser

2014 GC GDR ad

Please come out and take a test drive in a new Ford car and help the Cougar Boosters support G-C Athletics! We need 300 drivers to take a test drive. This is our 5th year doing this fundraiser and it is our biggest, easiest event. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COST TO YOU!! Ford will donate $20 per address that drives a car to the Cougar Boosters. How easy is that? 15 minutes = $20. Free money from Ford for our athletics!!

News:

  1.  SCHOOL IS IN SESSION MONDAY:  As we had been warning you in the past several MIS News blasts, the snow did hit.  The corporation has applied for the waiver of the first two days that the DOE has graciously provided; however, we must wait upon their approval.  If they do approve, we would have 3 make-up days.  Those days will be held on January  20th (MLK Day), February 17th (President’s Day), and March 17th (first day of the scheduled make-up days during the spring break window).  If further days are missed or the waiver is not approved, the remainder of that first week (March 18th-21st)   will be used.  The second week of the spring break window (March 24th-28th) is a guaranteed break.  Let’s hope we don’t get any more bad weather.
  2. MENU CHANGES DUE TO WEATHER:  The menu for Monday and Tuesday will be the advertised menu from January 13th and 14th respectively.  On Wednesday, January 22nd, we will get back to the “normal” January menu that has been posted.

Upcoming Dates:

  1. January 20th – MLK Day – Make-Up Day – SCHOOL IS IN SESSION!!
  2. January 30th – K-Kids Meeting – 2:15PM
  3. February 3rd-14th –   Acuity C Testing Window
  4. February 17th – President’s Day – Make-Up Day – SCHOOL IS IN SESSION!!
