Spirit Week a Success — A special thanks to Mrs. McClarnon and the MIS student council for putting on a great Spirit Week!

We kindly request that you avoid scheduling any appointments, etc. during these two timeframes. If your child misses the scheduled test time, they will have to make up the testing session while other students are in class which causes them to miss further instruction. Thanks for your help and understanding in this matter.

A Letter from Mr. Stroud – Mr. Stroud, our school social worker is planning to offer some opportunities for Maxwell Intermediate students to be involved in some groups that could help support them. Please read the Groups Newletter for more information.

Child pick-up for appointments –As we continue to be diligent about your child’s safety, we would request that you make a phone call should someone plan on picking up your child early for an appointment. Please let us know who will be picking them up along with the relationship. If this person is not listed on your emergency contact list that you provided to us or we don’t recognize them, please let them know not to be shocked or offended when ID is requested to take a child. Please remember to inform the person making the pick-up to bring ID as we don’t know every grandparent/aunt/uncle etc.. We don’t do this to make their visit any longer with us than need be, but we want to make sure your child is not put in harm’s way.
