  1. Report Cards: Report Cards are now available in the parent portal.  We encourage you to take a look at these prior to attending your parent/teacher conference.
  1. Christmas Assistance:  Hancock County families who are in need of Christmas assistance will once again be helped this year through the United Christmas Service (UCS), a division of the United Way.

Greenfield-Central Schools, along with several other community agencies, will be able to refer families they are familiar with.   The referral process will begin on November 1st and will continue through November 17th.    Parents will be asked to complete an application, and return it to Mr. Scott Stroud, School Social Worker.  This application requires information on each member of the household, such as name, gender, birth date, ethnicity, social security number, school attending, clothing sizes, and reason for need.  United Christmas Service will assist as many families as possible; however, no one is guaranteed assistance.

If you would like to request a copy of the United Christmas Service application or need additional information, please contact Mr. Stroud at 326-3121.

  1. Clinic Reminder:  All medication, including over the counter, requires a request to administer document to be completed and brought to school by a parent or guardian.  The request to administer form as well as quite a bit of other health related information can be found at the following link: http://www.gcsc.k12.in.us/?page_id=590.  Please note that cough drops are exempt from this policy.
  1. Poetry Contest Winner:  Congratulations to Izzy R.  She earned 2nd place honorable mention in the American Legion poetry contest.
  1.  Parent/Teacher Conferences:  P/T conferences will occur over two evenings (November 2nd & November 9th) from 4-7pm.  If you have not already signed up for a time/date and would still like one, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher.
