News:

  1. Weekly Department of Education ISTEP Update:  (Here is the latest) – *ISTEP+ and Accountability release of data… The IDOE will release ISTEP+ student reports to schools and parents on September 9th through INORS and the Indiana Parent Network.
  1. Book Rental Payments:  Just a reminder that the final payment is due on September 20th.
  2. Parent-Teacher Conference dates have been set for October 30th/November 5th from 4-7pm.  We would like to see 100% attendance at these so please keep these dates in mind as you are planning events.  If not already received, please be on the lookout for information regarding this event from your child’s homeroom teacher or feel free to contact them.

  2. If your child rides the shuttle to JBS after school, please read this attachment as they are making some changes to this process.

News:

  1. Immunization Update: If you have not done so already, all parents need to complete the attached CHIRP form as well as supply immunization records as soon as possible.  If you have an appointment to get shots, Mrs. Dingman (adingman@gcsc.k12.in.us) needs to have the date on record as soon as possible.  If your child is not up to date on shots, you will be receiving a letter via your child on Wednesday of next week.  Please be on the lookout in their folder on this day.
  2. -Classes start at 7:50 a.m. Doors to parent drop-off at Door 10 open at 7:40. Please use parent entrance off of CR 500 North.

-Don't forget to update your child's transportation information using School Dismissal Manager. Please make changes by 1:30 to ensure that your child is properly notified of changes.

-We are pleased to offer a Grab and Go style breakfast to students this year.
